Background The Texas Energy Association of Marketers (TEAM) was created in September 2002 by a group of industry leaders who shared a vision to promote and ensure the success of the competitive retail electric market. Together they formed TEAM, a highly focused advocacy group, whose purpose is to promote policies and initiatives on behalf of its membership relative to the Texas competitive retail electric market. TEAM is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to informing, educating, and advocating on behalf of energy market participants before working groups, legislative and regulatory bodies.
